Holiday Pops Children's Chorus
The HOLIDAY POPS CHILDREN'S CHORUS is a 100 voiced choir of children age 8-13. They rehearse Saturday's October-November and preform at the annual Holiday Pops Concert.
Auditions for the Holiday Pops Children's Choir are open to all children with unchanged voices between the ages of 8 to 13 at the time of auditions. Audition dates are Saturday, September 17, 2011 8 AM-12 PM and 1-3 PM and Monday, September 19 from 4-7 PM. All auditions are held in the Choir Room at Moline High School, located at 3600 Avenue of the Cities, Moline, Illinois.
Students should prepare a short musical selection of approximately1-2 minutes in length. An accompanist will be provided, no pre-recorded music is allowed. Students should bring a copy of sheet music for the accompanist. A capella auditions are accepted.
If a student is selected to the ensemble there will be a fee of $25. Inability to pay this fee should not prohibit a child from auditioning; there is financial assistance available.
