Holiday Pops Children's Chorus
The HOLIDAY POPS CHILDREN'S CHORUS is a 100 voiced choir of children age 8-13. They rehearse Saturday's in October and November from 9-10:30 and preform at the annual Holiday Pops Concert.
Auditions for the 2012 Holiday Pops Children's Choir are open to all children with unchanged voices between the ages of 8 to 13 at the time of auditions. All auditions are held in the Choir Room at Moline High School, located at 3600 Avenue of the Cities, Moline, Illinois. These are open auditions without assigned audition times. Children will be heard in the order they arrive.
Students should prepare a short musical selection of approximately1-2 minutes in length. An accompanist will be provided, no pre-recorded music is allowed. Students should bring a copy of sheet music for the accompanist. A capella auditions are accepted.
If a student is selected to the ensemble there will be a fee of $30. Inability to pay this fee should not prohibit a child from auditioning; there is financial assistance available.
